Does your child believe in the Santa Claus Conspiracy?

I never told my child that there was a Santa Claus. She still enjoys Christmas every year. I just felt that honesty was the best policy in this matter. As a child, I was sad to find out the truth. When I became a parent, I was not going to repeat the cycle. I found it unneccessary. How about you? Do your children or grandchildren believe in Santa Claus? Why and why not?
