We would like to renovate our bathroom, but...

it is so expensive. We were wondering if we just replaced our old fashioned taps with new ones. There are so many fancy taps available these days. Do you think that would make a difference to modernising our bathrooms?

I like natural as in textures but I love the glamour. I find it luxurious to soak in a bath in a beautiful bathroom! But each to his own. Thanks for response.

Thats a great way to start, and a fresh coat of paint. Maybe some new curtains... You can do all these things yourself and quite cheaply and it will make the world of difference. Thers also tile paint you can buy to change your tiles. And try adding nes accessories, like a funky bathmat, new soap/tootbrush/toothpaste holders/tissue box. Put in a potted plant, or a vase of fake flowers. Theres lots of cheap and easy ways to make a room look totally different...

I also made strings of crystals and hung them on a black candle holder. It looks good during the day, but at night, with the light reflecting from the crystals it looks great. Thanks for all you assistance. Have a great day!

The best way to inexpensively fix up any room is to put a fresh coat of paint on and replace the fixtures. Add a lovely new color to your walls, maybe get some new bath mats and towels, replace the faucets and maybe the toilet seat cover. Try to add a new picture on the walls or some plants or decorations as well. each little bit will add up to make a big change and make your bathroom feel new and fresh.

Good old reno you either love or hate it. Simple things like changing taps is a good start. There are really cheap ones out there. I have partially done mine with the taps giving the tiles a new lease of life using a ceramic paint. I dread doing the ceiling

Ceilings, oh no! Our second bathroom ceiling has started to flake. There must have been a few coats of paint on. I am going to sweet talk my very strong son into doing it for me. Then I'll treat him to a cricket match or something. Thanks for all your assistance and the time you took in responding. Take care!
