Just wanting to pass on a tip

I rang tech support of my cable company (optusnet.au)after my computer kept closing it self by going int the blue screen of death mode to have the internet reset from there end. Still happened rang again and poke to another tech and the told me there is an incompatibility problem between my system (xp pro) and the modem(motorolla). Sometimes it can be as simple as reinstalling modem drivers or using ethernet rather than usb. Mine now goes really well. I hope this tip is usefull
