My favorite band for the last 20 years has been Def Leppard, hands down!!! :) Only been to 3 of their concerts, though. The concerts for Adrenalize, X, and then their recent ball park tour with Bryan Adams. Awesome!!!

Whitesnake. They still going strong, still kicking a.r.s.e. (had to type it like that, mylot wont accept it otherwise....and I just love everything WS does, the songs, guitar, David Coverdales voice, and the fact he can write good songs.

My favorite band is the Foo Fighters. Their songs have the best melodies and they can really rock. They also have more mellow songs. I can enjoy their music no matter what kind of mood I'm in. I like a lot of different types of music too.

My favourite band is the British Invasion band - the Kinks. They're a band's band. They have written well over 400 songs and this is just one of their legacies - three huge bands had their first hit with covers of old Kinks songs - Van Halen with You Really Got Me, The Pretenders with Stop Your Sobbing and the Jam with David Watts. Their songs have been covered by some of the biggest artists - Bowie, Costello, Springsteen, Bon Jovi, etc. Former frontman and songwriter extraordinaire Ray Davies has just released a CD - The Kinks Choral Collection with the Crouch End Festival Chorus. Some of their best songs are given the choral treatment and it is simply gorgeous. Check out the precursor to this CD at Youtube - search 'Ray Davies Shangri-la' or 'Waterloo Sunset electric prom'. Lastly, film directors have been using the Kinks back catalog as sources for movie soundtracks, especially Wes Anderson in his most recent film The Darjeeling Limited with 3 songs - This Time Tomorrow, Strangers and Powerman.
