ignorance is not always bliss

i may be new to mylot but it has come to my attention that a vast majority of people reponding to various subjects are completely ignorant on those specific subjects to give an example the ADD debate the person who posted it thought that ADD is depression. there are many other instances where this is true. why do people do things like that? i think they have ADD or ADHD:)
