It's definatly possible, although as mentioned a lot of people see them as nesercary. But i find it quite liberating to leave my phone behind sometimes when i go out and know that no one can bother you and i find it makes things much more relaxing.

I feel lost if i dont have my phone with me, and when i lost phone it meant i lost all my numbers and addresses too, thereroe i had to get all my numbers again and some numbers i couldnt even get back. It helps to keep a backup on your computer of your address book from your phone.

Well there was a time when we did live without cellphones. But i guess we have become so dependent on them that now it will be difficult to quit phones. It's just a matter of habit.

It's kind of strange as most habits in this life turn to ordinary every day things. Look at the younger generation who learn from the older generation, ive seen young kids about 9 or 10 talking on mobile phones. When i was 10 i didnt even know what a mobile was nor if they were invented.
