If the heart removed from the body emotions will be gone?? Is emotion connected to the heart??

Well, most people who have had their hearts removed tend to stop displaying any emotion, but I think that might be misleading. Emotion, according to most research seems to originate from a combination of activity in the brain and in the endocrine system (thyroid, adrenal, etc.) The reason why people say that the heart is the seat of emotion is that the heart beats faster when one is excited. this is a result of adrenaline, produced by the adrenal glands (located on top of the Kidneys)
