The Truth About Miracles.

I am a teacher appointed by God to enlighten the global community about a socio-religious concept I refer to as “Total Wealth”. Most people are primarily concerned with their material well-being and so they focus on striving for material gain. But in order to get the most benefit out of life, we need to strive for total wealth which comprises physical, material and spiritual wealth. The emphasis of my work of enlightenment is on helping people gain spiritual wealth. Spiritual wealth is wealth that derives from spiritual knowledge. The individual who gains spiritual wealth is guaranteed to acquire total wealth. And possession of total wealth will translate into a life of bountiful good health, happiness and success. Someone who gets a job with a company or an organization usually receives a letter of appointment. This letter can be viewed as evidence of the appointment. Also, a person who is appointed an ambassador by their country is given a letter of credence. The purpose of this letter is to introduce the official to the government of the country where he or she is to serve. In contrast, those directly appointed by God to promote God-friendly living do not receive any such letters which will identify them as God’s appointees. Nevertheless, God has a special way of according them recognition before their fellow men. The Almighty works miracles in answer to their prayers. Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council, visited Jesus Christ at night. The connection between works of miracle and recognition is clearly evident in his opening remarks at that memorable nocturnal meeting. He said: “Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.” (The Bible (NIV), John 3:2). Besides working for the enlightenment of humankind, I also act as a supernatural power provider. Through prayers, I provide divine intervention for people in dire straits who need help to turn their situation around. That miracles occur in answer to my prayers is proof that God exists and also confirmation that I am the Almighty’s appointee. EMMANUEL EMEZIE manuelemezie@yahoo.com www.sssi.org.
