Holiday Favorites

My favorite holiday candy is my mother's homemade toffee. When she became ill 6 years ago she sat in a kitchen chair and gave me instructions while I cooked it at her stove. I am the only person in the family she shared this secret with. Sadly she passed away about a year later but my father found her recipe tucked away in a book and gave it to me. Every year at Christmas time my family brings me the ingredients and begs me to make Mom's toffee.
