1987 Ford Crown Victoria stalling and starting problems

Car will start and run. When I shut engine off and park for a while it will not start again. If I pull off the coil wire, crank the engine for a few seconds, reconnect the coil wire, turn key again it will start. I replaced the TFI module and the coil but it still will do the same thing. After starting it will run for a few miles or will sometimes stall shortly after starting. It sometimes hesitates while moving and will eventually stall at a stop. Repeat the coil wire procedure and it goes again.Is there something else I shoud be replacing?
