would u volunteer for HIV test? / myLot

I think its better people volunteer for HIV test and get that added to their voters id or some sort so that governement can have a measure in reducing its spread.

I think that it is a good idea and smart for everyone to be tested for HIV, as the CDC now recommends. Knowing your status is important; if you were HIV+, your best chances for living a long and healthy life are to get into treatment early. As for putting the information on government ID, I would oppose that. It is no one's business except you, your healthcare provider, and those who you trust enough to disclose it to. Why would the government need to know?

Thanks thats a good response. THis would provide a good information to government on the infected people and they can take measures to avoid its spread. But as you said its a very personal issue and people wont like to disclose it.

I would and do volunteer. Everybody should even if they think/know that they are "clean"
