Beating your child to death why would anyone do this?

A father beat his 3 year old daughter to death and said it was accident.He beat her because she refused to eat a peanut butter sandwich in 2005 the mom was at work.Then another guy beat his daughter 5 days ago and his family said he didn't do it they said she fell outside she died of blunt trauma. The police say they have evidents that he did it. Wha's your thoughts on this?

I think it is insane and inhuman. They have no control of their emotions. It is horrifying. I hope he gets the gas chamber if proven that he did it.

It's crazy isn't it? Some dad here just killed his 4 children, his girlfriend, her cousin, and then himself. Another father put his 3 yr old and 2 yr old in a dryer. I wish they would just leave the children out of it.

They must have had a mental breakdown or other mental disorder. It is terrible and thy really need to be put away for a long time.

Why put them away for a long time? So they could come out and have more children to try again? No offense. But some crimes are just unforgiveable!!!
You steal some bread because your child is hungry...forgiveable. You should get a job but the stealing is forgiveable. You lie about how many years of experience you have on an application even though you sign to swear all information is true and could be held against you....forgiveable. You are at lease trying to get that job and your work performance will say if you are capable or not.
But murder? Nope. Not forgiveable.

Oh wow, the father should've just given the child a JELLY sandwhich. Maybe the girl was allergic to peanuts and she knew it, while the father didn't?
Ok seriously, that guy is just out of his mind. Why beat an innocent child over a sandwhich?

Any type of abuse is wrong!How can it be controlled?Many people(men and women) feel the need to be authorative or in control and when others do not acknoledge it,the person uses force to control.And they always seem to go to the weakest link of the fence(that being younger or smaller people).Anger and frustration are my feelings when stories like these occur.

I say what is wrong with these people. i think most if them get a slap on the wrist maybe if the punishment was a little more harsh all this child abuse would stop.

That's horrible! People should not be able to get away with this. That man should be put into jail and let the rest of the inmates show him where he made his mistake! I'm almost sure that they would do that, too...best the living hell out of him!

It makes me sad that anyone would hit their child, claiming it for well-being. "Oh she wouldn't eat so I went nuts and killed her."
That's terrible. What kind of parent is that?

Even though I am two months late on this response, this was horrifying to hear and I do not believe the father that this was an accident. Nobody should ever beat their child no matter what the situation. It is crime and hope he got locked up for life. It is very sad that these things are happening. People that do this to their child are very sick. I have heard a lot of sick things like a woman who put her child in the microwave.

That's terrible. It's your flesh and blood. How could any parent do that? But then again, some people suffer some kind of range and when anger overcome them, they can sure do things that is the most unexpected.

There are way too many stories like this and they're all awful and heartbreaking.
Child protective services in this country and many others are terribly underfunded. The caseworkers are most often overworked and have a difficult time handling the flow of abuse reports that come in.
On the other side of this people are often afraid to report abuse because they think they might somehow get in trouble.
