Tito Ortiz versus Chuck Liddell

United States
December 19, 2006 4:45am CST
An MMA fight coming up at the end of December in the UFC. Probably two of the most popular fighters in the USA. What your opinion on this rematch? Will Chuck knock Tito out once again? Or maybe that thumb in the eye really was what gave it to Chuck last time? Can Tito take Chuck to the ground or will he end up like a line of other helpless grapplers who are forced to play Chuck's game and stand with him, resulting in Tito being KO'd? Or maybe Tito has been working his wrestling hard with Matt Hamill and will be able to take Chuck down and pound him out... What are your thoughts on who will win and who are you going for?

I think that Tito is going to lose. Chuck is a very good wrestler and has a deadly sprawl. Chuck knows what Tito is going to do. He is not going to carelessly throw bombs and end up getting taken down. He told Dana White that Tito is the last person he wants to lose his title to so I don't think he is going to be sloppy. I think that Tito is going to eat a few bombs sometime during round 2 and the fight will be over.

True, but Tito knows what Chuck is going to do too. I guess this depends on if Tito has the stand-up at this point to distract Liddell enough for a takedown.

lidell got ortiz in this one again. lidell is an extremely good fighter and has tremendous advantages over his opponents, even over the stronger ortiz. strength and brute force was not really a factor in this one, it was experience and mindgames

I don't know, but to take a wild guess its going to be Chuck Lidel just like the last match. Tito is a big hype, think he have a lot of talent but use it on a limit basic. Chuck will most likely keep it stand up and go for a blow like the last match they fought.
