what's the main point so you put someone being your friend list in MyLot?

I think there are three main points why I put someone in my friends list at myLot (actually, they always add me first): 1. Same like your reason, to see if they made interesting topic that I could respond. 2. They could answer some of my interesting discussions too. 3. To discuss and contact them with private message.

I add them based upon the discussions if the discussion seems intersting i like to add and make friends ....

I have had many request to be put on my friends list, so far I have approved everyone. I do check on their profile and see what discussions they have started. I only have a few friends with the notification turned on. If I had them all turned on my mailbox would get full. I do regularly go to the catagory, discussions my friends started. The way I figure a stranger is a friend that I haven't met yet. I have made some friends that I comunicate with thru email and Mylot messages.

Yes I agree. Well I have made some mistakes with approving my friends. I was new and did not know how it actually works. Long story short Alot of my friends do not get back to me. And I dont think that is fair, considering I get back to them when they make a discussion. I dont now. I had to learn.

I agree with you; I see if they made interesting topics that make me want to give my response. I also like to add active members. Beeing active helps me to know them better right?

I guess that making friends is what MyLot is all about. I list someone as friend if I find him/her posting interesting subjects and in the similarities in my way they are posting comments or responses. I care more for the intimate replies and real care when they respond to my requests for comments or suggestions.
