What do some people post to any topic even......

I think they post to it just to see their ratings increase. You would be amazed at the number of responses I've seen in some of the silliest topics, but if they want to keep posting and increase their ratings, then they will continue to do this.

No, you're not. See the topic "I'm Giving all negative ratings." I don't understand why some people respond to a discussion they clearly have no interest in. If some asks, "What do you think about Suchandsuch Book" why respond and say you have never read it. No offense but we are not all best friends here. I don't care if someone I have never met has never read a book that I want to talk about. I want to talk with someone who has actually read that book.

People are just typing anything meaningful or not for their ratings and few pennies. This site has alot of people who have writen excellent comments and topics and I'm hoping to be able to read more of them and stop wasting my time on the gibberish ones.
