I am a Filipino and my nomination goes to none other than the Fighting Pride of the Philippines, Manny "PACMAN" Pacquiao!! All types of sports are welcome, just type the name of your "favorite" or deserving athlete and your reason you why he or she deserves to be the Athlete of the Year. Let's get ready to rumble!!

i will go for manny pacquiao, too. however, let us not forget that there are others more to consider. in the philippines, we have so many good and spectacular athletes. let us not forget the wonder boy of billiards, efren 'bata' reyes. there are others still who are excellent in bowling...paeng nepomoceno still has a hot name. i am sure that there are others still. the most popular ones though are manny and efren bata.
