Which do you think is more celebrated Christmas or New Year?

I believe that Christams is very important coz' it's the birth of Christ while New Year signifies a whole new start. Here in the Philippines we call our Christmas Eve "Noche Buena" a night where the family gather around dinner and celebrate. In our family we don't have that kind of feast on Christmas. But we do gather around and cook meals on New Years Eve.
