How would you differ this website to others...

I have been talking to some friends and i am trying to reffer them to mylot...people that I think would benefit from becoming members here...Alot of them ask me, so how is this different from "myspace" or others similar to this. Well i gave them some of my own idea's on how i find this different but i wanted to hear your input...what is better? why? why would you recomend this site, what makes this so special?
