Thank God, so far I haven'thad an operation I am bit frigtened of surgery.

I had to have emergency surgery a couple of months ago because I had a hole in my colon. They removed 6 inches of it. I have to go in next week for another operation so they can finish repairing it.

Yes, 4 times now...not for a mayjor, though. My boyfriend is going into surgery tomarrow morning

Yes, when I was 8 months pregnant with my last child, the doctors found a tumor the size of a softball in my chest so I had to have surgery to get a biopsy of the tumor. They went through my ribs on my left side. They collapsed my left lung. I woke up and I could hardly breathe and there were two tubes sticking out of the side of my chest, plus I had an epidural in my upper back, 3 iv lines and a foley catheter in my urethra. I was in the hospital for 7 days. I was miserable and being 8 months pregnant didn't make things easier. It turns out I had Hodgkin's Disease. I had my son 6 weeks after that surgery and then started chemo 2 weeks after having him. I did chemo for 6 months followed by 18 days of radiation. I have been in remission for a little over a year and I feel great!
