A lie is a lie, no need to dress it up And I would also add "afraid" to your list. Arrogant to think we are smarter than the person we lie to and they are to stupid or slow to know what we are saying is a lie Ignorant that not knowing or understanding we only hurt ourselves in the long run by lying in the first place And afraid that someone wont like us for who we are or afraid of being caught in another lie we told to begin with I am sure there are others explanations Lets hear some more so we can all become better people by looking within ourselves and being honest with ourselves so we can work on ourselves Oh by the way Great topic!
