Do your kids have regular chores?

My daughter has a few I think it gives them a sense of responsibility. She collects all the laundry, all the garbage, cleans the cat box and takes the garbage outside. It also allows them to feel like they are contributing to the house.

my kids are too young now, but when they are older they will have chores to do to help around the house. My 2 year old LOVES to help with doing the dishes and cleaning..but im sure that will change as he gets older, haha

My children have regular chores that are appropriate for their age and skill level. The ten year old can take out the garbage and empty the dishwasher. The five year old loves to sort laundry and feed the cat, and the two year old is delighted when I give her a swiffer dusting pad and let her go "get it dirty". They all pick up toys! I think it teaches them responsibility and makes them feel like a needed, useful part of the family.
