If you had 20 or more acres, what would you do? Build a home, start an orchard? Make a subdivision? Tell me?

I would start a grove of Chestnut Trees,I would like to help reintroduce this very practical and beautiful tree to the United States. There was a blight that wiped them out in the 1920's . Now they are introducing blight resistant varieties.I know where I could get an internship to learn more about growing them. I would like to build a log home with lots of alternative energy--like solar, wind, and wood pellet. What would you do?

To be honest, I'd make a park with a botanical garden with a castle and grand stone walls. A garden full of roses, ylang ylang trees, gardenia bushes, and all sorts of fragrant plants. I didn't know that chestnuts were pretty much wiped out in the 1920's. That is great information. It would be cool to bring them back to the states.

My late grandfather has owned such 20 acres lot, we just don't see it actually since it was very far from us besides a lot of rebels are in such area and people or tenant in such area are ready to kill anyone if they we get the land being inherited by my father. It has so many bamboo and resources as you could get a lot from the products it has since a lot of bananas and coconuts and bamboos are planted in such area. If I could get it then probably I will make some farm out of it. I will put some piggery and a farmhouse in that area.

Probably build childrens palace. Place for talented children. Free for all children. I always wanted to do it. And I will do it some day. Around this palace we will have organic orchard and vegetable farm. We will have free animals(frends)living on our farm.

I would start a horse ranch on it.. I would build stables and arenas and leave the rest bare and lightly wooded for trail rides and the like and maybe put a small track around the perimeter for racing, just for fun of course. I'd also close off a little bit for some egg hens and maybe a teeny flock of 5-10 nubian dairy goats, because those are lovely.
