Is Going against parents good?

If you love to marry someone and ur parents go against it and there is no chance of convincing them.... is it better to run away from the home and marry your lover or stay alone throughout the life?

I think the better question would be "why don't they like him." Love is a wonderful thing, but it does sometimes blind us. And, maybe they know something about him that you don't see.
Before you run off and marry him, I would find out why they don't like him.
