why was hugh laurie snobbed at the emmys?

i still can't understand why hugh wasn't nominated at this year's emmys for his portrayal of house. most critics agree that he's perfect for the role.

I think he should definitely have been nominated. Maybe it's because people still don't know whether to classify House as a drama or comedy.

Excellent point. It's listed as a drama in the emmys and golden globes, but I've always thought of it as a comedy. Hugh should definitely win a second golden globe, though.

I don't know why either! I was absolutely shocked. That man is awesome and he really makes the show what it is.
