I truly know the feeling...I love giving gifts and due to having almost no money to spare, I haven't been able to do what I would like to, and that's depressing. Plus I'm missing my youngest son (24) who can't be here and who I haven't seen in a very long time. That's what I think is keeping me constantly on the verge of deep depression...that's why i'm glad i have my job, it keeps my mind off of things for the time i'm at work, and it's just 8 or 9 hours out of the day that I don't have to sit and think about things. And I honestly haven't even had any time to just sit and enjoy the holiday season. I'm really tired and worn out and will just be glad when it's over this year.

If you have nothing to do it will eventually get boring and that will lead to depression. Usually I go out with my friends, or chat. Maybe what you can do is earn some money by working for example? Or chatting here, hehe.
