Arthur C. Clark's 2001: A Space Odyssey

Has anyone read this book recently or any of the other 3: 2010, 2061, 3001? Seeing as the year of the first one has past and the second one is close approaching I thought it might be time to reread them. I haven't read them in so long that I forget most of them, I first read them in middle school I think,
