Should you take the law into your own hands?

A family friends dog passed away while they were away for the evening. He was being blamed & registered as a barking dog. Even when the neighbours dogs bark he was getting the blame. I've advised him to contact the local council & police in case there is a few more of these deaths. I believe there is something sus about it. The dog was not sick. If you found out who did something like this would you do something yourself or call the police?

Yes, I certainly would call the police. That was a horrible thing to do. If they can kill an animal, they can kill a person. And, they should pay for removing a life anyway, regardless of what specie animal. I hope responding to your old posts will pull them up for you to make more money. Have a wonderful day my friend.

Well, the right thing to do is to call the police. But I'm guessing that they probably won't do anything about it. Do you have any type of humane society or animal right oranization where you live? I just had an incident two months ago where my dog got loose and found his way to a major highway. The cop tried to catch him with nothing but his hands and chased him for over a mile. Then he got upset because my dog tried to attack him. He refused to call in the dog catcher. My dog ended up getting hit and killed. I know in my heart that the cop had something to do with it. So, what I am saying is, if the dog was already labeled a problem, I doubt that the police will do anything. I could be wrong. Please tell your friend that I am sorry for his loss.

Have you found out if the dog was poisoned? I think that is so cruel if it was.

That is vary sad and cruel for someone to kill someones pet even if it was a nuisance. There are correct means of going about these things and taking the law into your own hands isn't one of them!!!
