How do I delete comments from my friends in my profile?

Okay, I'm having a really hard time here trying to delete a comment I got from a friend that plays music. I notice the delete icon is not there and I can't seem to find a way to delete it out. Does anyone know how or can tell me how I can get rid of it? I'm not trying to be rude or anything but it's getting annoying. I would appreciate it alot if someone can help me with this situation.
