About how many guests attended your wedding

My intial headcount was 200, then my mom had a long list and ended up 300..the actual headcount is 299

I am not married yet but getting married next month. So talking about numberof guests, i suppose in my wedding reception there will be around 1200 to 1500 guests. I got that figure by assuming that since i have to ditribute 500 cards so roughly calculating 2 to 3 persons per card, it will definitely cross 1000 mark. How about you?
