Home remedies for acidity

Does any one know home remedy for acidity. I keep going to the doctor and take medications but my problem comes back again in a few days time.I would like to know if there is any home remedy for acidity (long term relief)

Eat your meals on time...don't leave too much of a gap between meals. Also, try and avoid too much intake of oil and spice. Try having a mixture of ginger juice, lemon juice and honey once a day.....maybe after meals. Ginger aids digestion and can help relief acidity

Take two grams each of small harad and jaggery and drink water over it to calm down acidity. Take this medicine daily half an hour after meals to control acidity within three days. Wash three grams of grass (Doob) and Bathua[dante Goos foot] and chew it nicely for relief in acidity. Take two spoon each of spinach, carrot and Kuthi juice to calm down acidity. Dissolve a pinch of asafetida in water and drink it for relief. Yes long term use of medicines may cause side effects like formation of stone. After your meal, if you feel burning sensation in your food pipe, take one glass of ice-cold milk or one cup vanilla floured ice-cream. It will give you instant relief.

these are a few. 1. chew 8-10 pudina leaves early in the morning on empty stomach. i have grown at my place now because i m also suffering from it. 2. having raw onions along with your meals also helps . drink a glass of lemon juice before each meal as it will help in relieving acidityt. 3. take a glass of water , add a pinch of baking soda and drink it at one go. it will surely help. keep urself away from smoking and drinking . should cut down on tea and coffee too. 4. if possible drink coconut water 3-4 times a day. 5. take a glass of warm water , add a pinch of Asafoetida and drink it early morning. 6. eat a serving of cucumber and watermelon 4-5 times a day. 7. chew 7-8 basil leaves when you feel the problem. 8. a glass of kokum sherbet with little cumin seeds powder will give relief.
