Swimming lessons for kids...

i believe that swimming lessons are the only sport that should be compulsory for kids in school, this gives the kids something which they may be able to use outside the school environment, eg if they get into some difficulty in the sea etc, they may be able to help themselves. what is the pouint of teaching a kid to play netball and hockey when they wont use these outside school, they are of no benefit. if a child is interested in other sports they will learn these and shine in them whatever, they dont need to learn these things in school, the only thing they need to learn in school is the basics of swimming and water safety.

yes i think that they should learn that at school. it is very important.

it shud be...cuz u never know when it becomes useful.
