You found $500 on the road side.

Naturally pick it up, although I'd look for a nearby purse, and return it if I found the address, although.. perhaps somewhat tempted to hold abit back? I don't know if I would, although at the end of the day, they could need the money more than you do.

what do you think i will do? as a guy man i will take style pick it and put it in pocket with reason that as a nigerian dollaris not our currencyso it may belong to BUSH OR THE MONEY JUST FALL from the pocket of the politician who want to take it out as a money lundering

be happy, go buy myself some clothes... i don't even care if anyone watched me, cause anyone could claim it was their money,...

I would keep it.

Okay I'm going to be honest here, if I saw $500 on the roadside I would pick it up and walk away, as the way I see it, it was fate that put that money there, and who am I to tempt fare.

whats wrong if i just used it.. i did not steal it anyway.. why would i need to be afraid? it is God's gift, and what is wrong in helping myself?

I would likely wait to see if someone comes looking for the lost cash. What if the person who lose the money needs the money badly? I must admit that I am tempted to keep it but I will probably not.

I would check if the currency note are authentic. If yes then i would keep it for myself. People would be tempted to say that it is not morally correct to to keep the money because it belongs to someone else. But the purpose of money is to serve its holder. So what if I leave it there? it will probably get destroyed by natural events. So the pupose for which that money was made is not fullfilled. But what if someone else picks it up and uses it? then the purpose will be served but the above mentioned moral is violated. But the correct thing to apply in this situation is practicality and not morality. So when we think practically, we would think that if we don't use it now someone else will take it or it may be lost forever. So its better to keep it with us.

Tmacink had a good point...chances are, youre not gonna find the owner of it anyways unless they left some sort of photo ID with it so take it home and use it to your advantage. what else ya gonna do?!

for sure i ll pick up the 500$ bill...but if i see someone searching for it i ll surely return it...otherwise it becomes mine....finders keepers i guess...

The way I figure it is this: The fact that I found a $500 note meant I was supposed to find a $500 note, which means the universe was giving it to me. I would never say no to the universe :) or Free Money for that matter lol

I would look around to see if anyone was looking for it or had an open purse or something. But if no one else was, then ofcourse, I would pick it up and keep it!! I would go shopping and have a great time.

In Romania, no one have to find $500, everyone stole for someone else. :)
