I can't believe they're teaching this!

At my son's elementary school, they've been learning all about Hannukah and Kwanzaa and yet at the same school a child came in wearing some sort of t-shirt that said Jesus Loves Me and was asked to turn it inside out so no one would see the poentially offensive message. Is this fair? To teach some religions and not others seems wrong to me.
