End of the Universe

Are the outer limits of the universe a void of white ? I read and heard that the universe is shrinking. What do you think or know about the outer limits.

It is more like a void of black, because there is no light outside of the universe. But of course no one knows for sure, as no one has been there. All we can go by are the educated guesses by the scientists. Which may not be true ...
