Just curious about your country....What month does classes starts there?

I live in the Philippines and I just want to know when does your country starts regular classes from primary to tertiary level. Here we start classes on June up to March for all levels exept colleges that are tri-semesters. Vacation is from March to April which is summmer.

i live in malaysia and we have different month to start the classes. For primary and secondary level the will start their first semester on january and will start the secind semester on july. Wheares for the college and university they normally start the class for semester 1 on december to january and for the second semester they will start on july or august

One more thing I woul like to add.....we here we start second semester during November.
So during when is your vacation?

I am in the USA and here they start grade school in August until June. The kids here would have a fit if they had to attend in June. They are talking about going 12 months out of the year and letting the kids have some longer breaks during the year. The parents LOVE this idea, the kids hate it. But the kids stay in too much trouble when they have two-three months off at a time.
