Planes. - I hope both of these planes are sturdy!
I was coming home from visiting Missouri one Christmas year by plane. My flight stopped in Nashville, TN where we had to change planes. So, it's nearly time for take-off and everyone boards the plane. We sit there for nearly two hours when the flight attendant gets on the intercom saying there is a small mishap and they are correcting it - it should only take about 30 more minutes. So, 30 minutes rolls by and we hear nothing about the plane flying. Nearly an hour rolls by and the captain comes over the intercom and explains there is a small technical problem with one of the engines and we should be in the air very shortly. Time rolls by...nearly five hours after we had boarded the plane, we were now ready for take-off. The worst part is, the airport was closed. This means no food, no drinks, no nothing. The airlines didn't even offer us pretzels and/or water this whole entire time. We could only walk around an empty airport. So, we're about to start up the engine and take-off when the flight attendants realize - we're missing two passengers. They paged and called and searched for these passengers. The people on the plane are wanting to leave them behind and just go on home when, after an hour, the two return to the plane. Noooow we're ready to head home. On the way there, it was a nail-biting experience as there was so much turbulence and the pilot was flying as fast as he could. Which...I hope it was turbulence and not one of the engine. Either way, we all made it safely home.

Once when I was at Latur..got the news that my mom in law is very serious at nasik..had to immediately leave by the first bus available..I reached Nasik after around 12 hours..the journey per se was not bad..but whole journey I was under terrific tension and anxiety..I was also out of the net work and hence could not update my self on the status of her health..

I think driving for 10 hours to visit my family in Iowa would be the worst travelling experience.
