SEO is Search Engine Optimization..you usually do seo to your website in order to let search engine spider to understand about what is your website..rule is simple "As more search engine will understand about your website the more FAIR reward you will get, wich is the page rank (the place on the search results, where you appear, after user types in request for search engine).
