I asked myself these questions back in my past days, and I spent so much time to come up with my decision for each situations. It's hard for me to do my decision. Just want to say, there's no right or wrong here, it's just what you will do if you were in the situation. You are a doctor in a hospital in the United States. There are 4 patients waiting for you for an operation. All of them were in comma state and each of them will die if you don't do the operation this afternoon. The first patient is the Vice President of USA. He is a great and caring husband, father and grand-father. His wife is mentally weak and her heart disease will kill her if she lose his husband. At his age of 52, this man has done a lot for the country, and even a lot more for his family. He is the type of man who will do anything for his family, even sacrificing his own life. The second patient is a 28 aged young mother who was an actress in her younger days. She quits her job as a talented actress and dedicates her life to her 2 twin-daughter, who are only 8 years old. She doesn't have anyone in her family anymore. So it means that if she dies, her children will be lonely in this world. Even though she gabe birth to her children at a very young age, but she has showed a lot of good criteria of a perfect mother. She is caring and lovely, and yet discipline and know how to educate her children morally. The third patient is a postpone graduated young man. He wants to be a doctor as a choice for his career. He is a genius, a very clever man and everyone is sure that he'll make a very good doctor. He has a fiancee who is pregnant at this moment. They were going to get married before he got sick, and it is only 2 months away that she will give birth to their children. The last patient is a 34 middle-aged man who has just been released from prison. He was accused for killing 2 men whom he believed to be robbers. The court at that time decided that he lied and he had to be prisoned. This man has no one else in this world, except for his old auntie, Aunt Laurent. His aunt loves him so much and she knows somehow that her nephew is innocent. She has spent all her money for his medicine and his stay in hospital. If you are the doctor, once again, whose room will you enter to give an operation? This is not an easy thing to decide, so don't leave childish replies. But think deeply, imagine you are REALLY a doctor who has the commitment to save anybody's life. Give thoughtful, smart and wise decision.
