selling my kidney

apperently no one understands why i want to sell my kidney. first of all thanks for your concerns and responses, i don't get it though. What's the big deal? I need money! I'm an ex con. tired of doing dirt. I want to be productive but life is hard. I live in a small town, parole wont let me drive, and i don't know too many people. selling my kidney will be a ligit way to earn alot of money and help somebody in need at the same time. one person said once you take it out you can't put it back in, sure you can. that's why people sell them in the first place right?i just don't know how much they cost. but if i really need one i can always buy one from somebody else, right? besides everyone's gotta die sooner or later, what's the point in living if you can'y enjoy life?

I admired you when you said that you want to be productive and selling your kidney would not only help someoneelse but also yourself... not all will agree with you... but id like to be possitive... enjoy life I know its hard what you went through and start all over again... but as long as you are not going to harm anyoneelse and you will be at peace with what you will do... just take care after the operation... and make sure that before doing it you wont have any complications that will just ruin your health in any way...

First off, in order to even think about donating an organ, the donator MUST go through a tough screening process. Who knows what he could have picked up while in jail. So, going somewhere and selling your kidney without the screening process could actually KILL the person receiving it.

Your profile says that you are from the U.S., and I know for a fact that it is illegal to sell organs in this country, and it is most likely illegal in any developed country. You won't get any money for it; organs can be donated if you sincerely have the desire to help someone. It sounds as if you have had a lot of struggles to deal with in your life. I am not lecturing, but your circumstances now are the consequences of your past actions. It's up to you to make something more of your life in a legitimate way. I know that jobs are hard to find in some areas, and a decent-paying job would be even more difficult to find in a small town. But you have to start with something; you can always take classes or skill training to better yourself and improve your opportunities and income. Looking for an easy way out, such as selling an organ, makes it seem as if you are still stuck in the mentality that got you into trouble in the first place.

if someone u loved was dieying coz he needs a transplant i am pretty sure u would all pay all the amount of money in the world to save their lifes. u can't buy life! but u can buy some time for sure. yeah maybe it's not legal, but at least he;s thinking that everyone has to win from this. he has something to get started without actually harming someone, and that guy will gain some precious time.

Dude, Because selling body parts is illegal in Most countries.. It is considered against International law, selling of harvesting body parts for money... Donating you can do... But you really will not be able to enjoy life as much with one kidney no sports...- DNatureofDTrain

Last I knew selling organs or body parts was illegal. You can donate though.. the closet to earning money off of body anything I know of is some blood drives will pay you for blood donations... But hey man, just volunteer at places, get a good reputation, and work hard to get a job if you can not do full time there are plenty of temporary jobs and there are always people needing helping with yard work, and house work... - DNatureofDTrain

A kidney filters your blood removing the waist and poisonous materail from the blood with out them this builds up and basicly you are poisoned from your own blood .You either have to have your blood filtered by machines or you die in not that long a time. They are rather important .

Obviously he does not want to do physical hard work if he wants to sell his kidney for money...otherwise he would be out trying to get a job.

As long as its legit I would agree with most of what you say, but keep in mind that you can only sell oe kidney, then what will you do to earn money after that? I think the problem lies with your society, that doesnt give much help to those who need help getting a job, or removing the stigma associated with ex-cons. I wish you all the best in your life and hope you will be able to indeed enjoy life one day soon.

please hold... why r u putting your life in danger. although u have big problem of money...but kidney donation is not a perfect solution for that..after donatio although you get good rather big money..but your digestive system will get defected...and you can't work with full stamina.. so please think again and take a wise decision on this issue...'HEALTH IS WEALTH

You could probably do this in some foreign country. They could do it on the bathroom floor and then fill the tub up with ice and set you in it to wake up. Then you might need to go the ER to get some help, but you would have your money, hopefully. THEN you could make the urban legend true.

Or die on the floor, or go into shock in the tub. Either way, there's not help close by...

I think it is illegal in most countries (as well as the states) to sell bodyparts and organs. I do understand that u are in financiall problems but you also say that you are an EC-con - if you do this you probably have to take away the Ex part as well as the kidney!

first of all thank you all for your comments and concerns. if at all possible please leave your mesages on here and not my e-mail. People are saying that this is only a temporary sollution, but i believe that i can invest the money and multiply it thus, being able to pay for health care and possibly buy a new kidney. i am however concerned about the safety of the surgery. And how can i be sure of payment if it is illegal and i am confined to bed

Hey I have an idea...instead of trying to sell your kidney which is illegal in the states and would probably end you back into the prison system why don't you go get a ligitimate job and make an honest living? Then once you get on your feet....DONATE a kidney that way you would be putting something back into society. I don't get why someone would want to finacially benefit from something that is supposed to be a donation. People who need these kidneys would not nessecarily be in a great finacial situation anyways...think about it!

A healthy body is a gift of God which no amount of money can buy appretiate that with all your faults u have a body can be put to good use through hard work kidneys are donatedto close relative so that it matches otherwise body rejects so dont treat your body as a jokelife is too precious.

selling your kidney is of course an illegal practice. It will surely benefit others but i dont think its good for the donor. Yes, you have one more thats left, in time, it will be exhausted and becomes toxic causing it not to function well. You will then be needing dialysis and not a kidney donation. Dialysis is a long term process thus your activites of daily living will suffer from then on.

i seriously advice you against you selling your kidney .first of all it is illegal in my country to profit from selling body parts even if you donate it willingly.i do not know abt your country's laws.also once you hae done it thereis no way you are gonna get it back .also what happens if you develop a health issue during the operation or becuase of it?have ou thought this through?

I dont think so its right on your part for as far as I know that theres alot of side effects of only one kidney you must earm more for maybe in the future you will need more money than what you earn on selling your kidney to see a doctor. The good effect is you will help other people on that.

First of all I want to know whether selling parts is allowed in your country. It is not a commercial business, normally kidney transplantion happens only as favour for human beings not in the commercial aspect. U r hardly 24 and at the same time how much u r going to get selling your one kidney, it will not make or take you anywhere. Please drop such clumpsy idean and relax. Do yoga, meditation, get some good friends and work hard and get a good job. Initially you will feel very hard but later once you have proved at your workplace u can come up well. If everybody in the world thinks that the easy option to sell bodyparts, then u can find super market for body parts. So, I request to drop your idea of selling body parts and concentrate more on life, u r only 24 u have lot of time to be spend on this wonderful world.

I think if you really want money then you had to choose any other alternatives. And you said that you r want to help somebody by giving your kidney better than that you donate it that gives you more satisfaction than money because money dont buy everything.
