NO. I personally do not believe in the right of a state to take a life. Perhaps I would be more convinced if there had not been so many cases of overturned convictions due to revelations through DNA evidence and bedside confessions that proved that the wrong person had been convicted and sentenced. Maybe ion this new age of DNA evidence I would be more prone to agree if justice was delivered more swiftly. A stay of execution is more likely 20 years after the fact when the sensationalism of the crime is no longer in the news.

Capital punishament - The apparatus used for capital punishment
For certain crimes like the killing for fun are so serious and I think that for such crimes the best punishment is capital punishment.Also crimes like working against own country should be rewarded with capital punishment.Because if this there is fear in people for performing such dangerous crimes.So I think capital punishment is an effective deterrent to crime.
