Should a woman have the right

I feel a debate coming on. I feel that this answer would have to be up to the individual themselves. I don't know if I could ever have one done myself but I know people that have and some of them say that it was the worst thing that they did and other's say that it was the right choice. I am fairly mutual when comes to asking the question," should a women have the right to decide to have an abortion?" You would also have to put in the fact that some women are raped or that a child might be a product of incest. I know that adoption is an option but for some women, they just cant deal with caring for this child that was the cause of something that happened to them.

Only women has to right to decide whether she has to undergo abortion or not! Personally, I feel that abortion is not the right method! But under certain circumstances, if abortion is complusory, then only the women has the right and no one should compel her for abortion!

If it is done early enough... But it should be what is best for the couple.

Yes, she should have. Afterall she is the one who is carrying the child.

Yes she should have the right to decide whether abortion is necessary or not ,but mainly in this society it is a decision taken by her parents in case she falls prey before marriage

I think the couple should decide it and not only the woman even though it's true that the woman is the one carring the life inside her but I think that's a decision to be taken by both man and woman.

Im contrary of abortion because it is similar to ill another person, but if itnecessary the final decision is the women

well i think that a woman has the right to have an abortion.. see in the philippines we have an act here wherein the any person has the right to choose what he/she will do to his/her body as this is his own property assuming that the person in question is has the rigt mental status to choose for herself.. so when the baby is still a fetus and while the baby is still the property of the woman she has the right to kill the baby or not.. it is now a question of ethics if the woman decides to abort her baby or not. there are a lot of consequences regarding this act and one must choose to become a killer to live. well depending on the circumstances, abortion is allowable if it is therapeutic.. if the baby was born out of rape the woman raped has the right to choose if she will allow the baby to live since she was forced to have it and it will just traumatize her.. also if the body of the mother cannot handle pregnancy or conception she may choose to give up her child's life in exchange of her or both of their lives..

The only reason a women should have the right to have an abortion if she was raped or got pregnant w/o her consent.
