Tell me why is it that most playgroups make you feel like you are going back in time to high school again. Don't get me wrong, some playgroups are absolutely wonderful, I belong to one now that is great, everyone gets along and there is no drama. But there have been playgroups in the past that I have been a part of that just need to feed on the drama. I just never could understand that. We are in a playgroup to build friendships for our children as well as ourselve, to have the support of other moms. But there is always that one person or even two, that just need to start something or there are your cliques within a playgroup that think they are too good for you. What are your thoughts

Well, I haven't gotten into any play groups yet, but would like to when my husband deploys next month. Now you kind of have me worried. I'm not exactly a social butterfly, if they start acting like people in high school... I'm going to cry. Wish me luck!

oh dont be worried about it, you can usually tell right away if it is a playgroup all about the drama. I am not a social butterly either, tend to be very shy around new people and some people take that the wrong way of course. I belong to the Moms Club, which as been wonderful and another playgroup that I have been involved with for 2 years and it has had no drama whatsoever. Good luck
