It's not easy to add muscle mass. For that, you would have to go through a resistance program that includes 2 to 4 sets of 8-12 repititions. Few things that you have to do to help muscle mass grow healthy, check out the following:-You need to get enough sleep: Muscle grows better during rest and especially during sleep, because there is this "growth hormone" that goes through in your body during your sleep. A good 8-9 hours of sleep is recommended. -Follow good nutrition: Eat enough calories to promote muscle growth. You need about 300-400 extra calories a day to build and gain 1 pound of muscle. To know if your on the right track, monitor yourself. One pound gained a week is a very good sign.

Good question ++ and I have a good answer for you. To get good muscle results you have to train every muscle not more then once a week, the mucle will get more rest. The more rest, the more the muscle grow. For weight loss, you still have to follow what I have mentionned above, but to burn more fat you have to lift little lighter weights, but more reps, like 4 reps instead of 3.
