Why can't I find a Wii?

So I heard Toys R Us was getting some more Nintendo Wii's this morning (12/22/06) I showed up in front of Toys R Us at 6:20am. There were a bunch of people in folding chairs, I didn't ask them how long they'd been there but apparently it was a while. I got in line and asked the people in front of me what number I was. They were 12 and 13 so I was 14. I waited for about 15 minutes and the manager came out and started counting down the line. He stopped at 12, turned to us (# 13 and me) and said "sorry guys we only have 12. #13 really seemed upset, he had been there about 30 minutes before I got there and just a couple minutes after #12 who ended up getting one. Anyways I went to a few other stores, ended up waiting in front of best buy from 7:30 until 8. There were 3 people when I got there at 7:30, by 7:45 there were about 15 people waiting to get in, One guy just wanted a celine dion cd. Anyways we all scrambled in straight to where the wii's should be and they weren't, asked the guy and he said they didn't have any.. Tried a few more stores and nothing. Looks like I won't be playing Wii at my Christmas Eve party=(
