Looking for someone

Hey guys I am new here but need help. I have a friend who is trying to track down her ex. She does not wanna contact him to say hi but she needs to contact him for other reasons. Where do we go from here?

Has she tried looking on myspace? Believe it or not, that is an easy way to find people. Also, does she know what state he/she lives in?? She can look up his name on the internet and find the addresses of all the people who match his name. (I got that tip from the Tyra show). :) She can then write them all a letter letting them know who she is looking for, etc... and hopefully get a response.
