Who is your favorite characrter in the novie 'The lord of the Rings' trilogy

My favorite characters are Aragorn, because of his braveoury and honour, and Sam, because thoughout the entire movie he is Frodo's loyal friend, no matter what happens.

That is a tough question. I like all of the characters for different reasons. one of my favourites i guess would have to be Gollum. I think for a CGI character he was very well done. I guess there was a human who did the movements, but the computer really did it all with the awesome textures, it really brought him to life. There were times when I was watching the movie and couldn't tell that gollum was CGI at all. To me, this makes a movie all that much better.
