The entire Operation:Mindcrime album is just amazing, picking one song is nearly impossible. Walk In the Shadows I guess would be my absolute favorite, from Rage For Order, even though all the synth kinda makes it seem... dated? Well, it was the 80s. But I felt they lost all their magic when Chris DeGarmo left. They suck now.

Operation mindcrime (all of it )is the best of the best, it has it all. To me it is one complete song I cannot just listen to one or two songs on the album I must listen to it all. They have a lot of great music it is a difficult choice. Lady wore black is a big favorite of mine.

Wow, probably Jew City Woman. I had to live version and an acoustic version but both were accidentally erased off my computer.

It is tough to choose just one from this Washington-state-based group. The Lady Wore Black was always a big one for me. It would be a toss-up between that, & Roads To Madness. Despite its long length, it seems to have a lot of variation, as if they probably had several ideas for pieces of music, & somehow, nicely meshed those ideas into one long song.

My favorite song is Anybody Listening. That song is so true. Does anyone smile without a mask? Thats one way to look at it right? This discussion is very old but better late then never!

That's a tough question because they have so many good songs. I like just about everything they did from "Take Hold of the Flame" all the way through "Empire" but I'm not a really big fan of any of their more recent stuff. They adapted more of a grunge sound during that time and I didn't enjoy that at all. Does Operation Mindcrime count as one song, since it all fits together? If so, I'd have to say that's my favorite.

For me my favourite song by them is the whole Operation Mindcrime album....i regard it as one onl song....and it's one of the best rock albums ever made....impossible that they ever get close to it's level... The mission, spreading the disease, I don't believe in Love, Eyes of a Stranger, Revolution calling.....any of those is a master piece. I also love the song Queen of the Reich, and many others.

Another Rainy Night is a very good song. I guess my favorite is Silent Lucidity followed closely by I Don't Believe in Love.

It's hard to choose only one song as my favorite because 'Operation Mindcrime' is a true masterpiece and all the songs are great, and there are also many great songs on 'Empire' and their other albums, but I choose 'Revolution Calling' for its powerful chorus and social and political message.
