Do you prepare your baby's food or do you just buy them from stores?

Purity baby vegeatables was available when my children were babies. I used to buy sometimes, especially if were going out for the day but they preferred home cooking. They loved the purity fruits though, and also the baby porridges available.

PS. If I had a baby now, I would probably buy all the baby foods available until I found the one he/she liked best. I much prefer the easy way out now that I am older.

Yeah, buying from the stores is really convenient. Plus, there are some fruits that I cannot find locally so I resort to buying commercial baby food. I want my baby to taste different kind of food so he won't be a picky eater, hopefully.

baby food - cooking for your children is actually very easy and any organizational skills make it effortless
We prepared all their foods with only occasional use of prepackaged baby food. It was just as easy to make them a meal much like ours. The formula that generally works was a bit less than 1/3 meat and a bit more than 1/3 starch and then aroung 1/3 vegetable. This rule of thumb allowed us to vary it with what we had and were eating. We also put leftovers in ice cube trays and froze them to be used later or to take with us when visiting family. Prior knowledge let me prepare foods that we would eat at grandparents house. We be neat to see who else answers and what they say!!

Great! I also prepare my baby's food but due to busy schedules at times I get to buy form the stores.

I do a little of both. My son mostly eats what we are eating now, but occasionally I'll give him jar food. He never had a problem digesting it. My MIL told me that babies who eat jar food will have stomach problems, so at first I was skeptical but now I know whe is full of hooey!!
