are chocolates fattening? can you gain weight by eating chocolates?

according to a well known doctor. only plain chocolates are non-fattening. others with peanuts, raisins, wafers and such are the fattening ones.

i asked a nutrition and he said that dark chocolate it doesn fat and this rumour is stupid .Chocolate is realy good for your health but not in larg amounts

Unfortunately the answer is 'yes', to both questions. It's sad, because I love chocolate very much. It's the combination of fat and carbo-hydrate (sugar!), what makes it so dangerous for shape. Dark chocolate is better but, alas, fattening also.

thank you but i heard everthing is fattening if you eat it more than the body requires. so perhaps chocolates can be eaten to an extend limit?
