I think that this one is pretty close to the taste of the cole slaw that they serve at KFC. ½ cup mayonnaise 1/3 cup granulated sugar ¼ cup milk ¼ cup buttermilk 2 ½ tsps lemon juice 1 ½ T white vinegar ½ tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 8 cups finely chopped cabbage (about 1 head) ¼ cup shredded carrot (1 medium carrot) 2 T minced onion Be sure cabbage and carrots are chopped up into very fine pieces. Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl and beat until smooth. Add the cabbage, carrots, and onion, and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Serves 10 to 12. Here is another one that is a little different. 1 1/3 Cups mayonnaise 3 T white vinegar 2 T plus 2 tsp granulated sugar 2 T milk dash salt 8 cups chopped cabbage (1 head) ½ cup shredded carrot Combine all ingredients except the cabbage and carrots in a large bowl and blend until smooth with an electric mixer. Add cabbage and carrots and toss well. Cover and chill overnight in the refrigerator. The flavors fully develop after 24to 48 hours. Serves 6 to 8 as a side dish. I hope you like them. I love cole slaw.

All I do is buy the cabbage already shredded or shred it myself, add shredded carrots, mayonaise, and sweet pickle relish. this tast real good and is not so fattening, especially if you use low fat mayo.

I don't have a special recipe on colo slaw, only the ordinary one. However I have a special recipe which is quite the same as coleslaw but it doesn't use mayonese in it. The mathod is quite easy. Just cut into small pieces the vegetables below which has been steamed first for 1/2 minute: Cabbage Carrots Long Beans Tapioca Leaves (this is an exception: boil for 10 minutes) Cucumber (let it fresh - don't steam or boil at all) bean sprouts tau foo (deep fry and slice thinly) For the mixture, take half a cup of grated coconut. Mix with half a teaspoon grilled shrimp paste, 10 pieces of pounded small very hot chilli, a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix all the vegetables with the coconut mixture, and it is ready to serve. Best eaten with rice and fried fish. Yummy.

Coleslaw, a tasty side dish at any time of the year, is one of the best ways to incorporate many powerful ingredients. 1/2 cup (125 mL) raisins 3 cups (750 mL) finely shredded green cabbage 1 cup (250 mL) finely shredded red cabbage 3/4 cup (175 mL) shredded carrot 1 cup (250 mL) chopped apple 1/2 cup (125 mL) dates, finely chopped 1/2 cup (125 mL) roasted, salted cashews 1/2 cup (125 mL) soy mayonnaise 1/4 cup (60 mL) lemon juice 1 tsp (5 mL) miso paste (optional) Freshly ground black pepper to taste Cover raisins with hot water to plump for an hour or two. Drain before using. In large bowl, combine raisins, green and red cabbage, carrot, apple, dates, and nuts and toss to combine. Whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, miso, and salt and pepper. Pour over coleslaw and mix well.
